Bring Your Own Piece Workshop

Have you ever seen a piece of painted furniture and wished you could do it? Do you have a piece that you would like to renew into a fresh new piece of furniture with a pretty color of paint? In this workshop you will transform a small piece of your own furniture into something fabulous. We will expand on the basic techniques you learned in the Beginner’s Workshop by learning how to layer paint colors, how to get that smooth look, the French County look and different techniques on how to get that real shabby worn look. You will learn and see the difference between Clear, Pearl and Hazelnut Protect & Seal and how to give your piece that aged look by using Protect & Seal. Paint and all the tools for project will be supplied. You only need to bring your own small piece of furniture. You must be able to carry the piece in yourself. You will need to have previously taken Intro to Acrylic-Chalk Beginner’s Workshop 101 before taking this workshop. This workshop is about 4 hours long. Come dressed to paint, and you are welcome to bring a light lunch, snacks and drink. Cost to take the class is $80.

Chalk It Up Workshop

This class will be all about chalkboards including how to make, care for and condition them, and what’s the difference between chalkboard paint and chalk paint. We will also cover how you can use Acrylic-Chalk Paints for your chalkboard as well. All supplies, paints and materials will be provided and when you are finished, you will be taking home your newly created chalkboard. This class will be about 2-3 hours. Come dressed in your painting clothes. Bring a snack and beverage of your choice.

A Garden Chair Workshop

Come join the fun and learn how to turn an old chair into a beautiful garden chair ready to be filled with flowers or succulents. We provide all supplies; the chair, paint, Protect & Seal, wire, burlap, everything you need to create your own special chair. When you leave your chair will be ready to fill with mums, flowers or succulents. Class is $75, and we provide the chair. If you bring your own chair, class cost is $65.

Intro to Acrylic-Chalk Beginner’s Workshop 101

Learn the basics of applying Acrylic-Chalk Paints, Protect & Seal, layering paint and different methods to archive a worn aged look. Paint, all supplies and materials will be provided, all you bring is your questions. You will take home several finished projects. Cost to take the class is $65.
